I'm back!!

Well I'm back from my great vacation. The vacation was fun, but the train rides were a diffrent story.

I know now that train rides and 2 year olds don't mix. The first several hours were ok. Dean had a good time, but after the hour and a half delay near Kansas City in the middle of nowhere (because of a freight train), he'd had enough. He would not stop crying. Nothing I did would work. He did, however, make alot of friends of all ages. He also slept well on the train even though he gave me trouble about laying down. And after a 34 hour ride both Dean and I were excited to get off the train. We met my parents and Lily; it was great! We were all crying tears of joy,(except my dad he was just happy.)

Prescott, Arizona was GREAT. Warm during the day cool at night -- the ideal weather for me. We spent several hours outside on the porch talking and catching up, while Scrub Jays came right up on the porch to take some peanuts from a cup that my parents left for them. I went to work with my dad which was fun; he owns some of those claw machines you see in restaurants. He fills the claw machine with toys and checks to see how it is doing on money. At the end of his work day we met my Uncle Frank who is buffer than ever. He is 75 and lifts weights and has won many awards. We also went to a place called The Fun Station. It is like Chucky Cheese with a little more. The kids had a good time.

My mom and I decided to go to downtown Prescott with the kids were my Aunt Diane has her own shop called Tickled Pink. There were a few things I wanted to get my mother in law put had to settle on one. There were alot of shops and resturants but we went in only a few to look around. I also got to go to my mom's church which was diffrent from what I'm used to. After church we went out to breakfast with my dad. And to finish our vacation off the kids, my mom and I went to the YMCA to go swimming -- we had so much fun!

After all that fun we had to say good-bye, which was really sad. The train ride back was even worse then the ride there, I thought I was having a nervous break down! I was so tired and stressed that I could not stop crying. But things got better when I got some sleep. We finally met Theo in Elyria at 1:30 in the morning and were oh so thankful to be home!
